my mps10 (malikhaing pagsulat) prof said that a good way of showing gratitude to a person is by writing about her. eh pano pag pusa? di naman marunong magbasa si doggy. haha. anyway, since i don't want to review yet for my art stud exam on thursday, and since i get free internet connection from who knows where, i'll just write about one of my bestest friends, doggy ^_^

doggy was born on january 8, 2004. she's the daughter of fatso, a pure siamese cat. however her dad is a native cat, so she's just half siamese. siamese cats' fur turn dark as they age, but doggy's fur stayed white. haha. the ends of her body though are brown, so she can still claim to be siamese. we originally wanted her to be named darla, from the little rascals, but the name was so girly that it didn't fit her. so we named her doggy. i'm not sure about who thought of the name first but i think it's ati tay. so there. we started calling her doggy, and i think it caused her an identity crisis, cause now she's as playful as a dog. she's really really really papansin. there was one instance when we saw her resting with a little mouse by her side. the mouse was obviously dead cause it wasn't even stirring, but when doggy saw us looking at her, she got the mouse by her mouth and started tossing it and pretending to chase the poor dead mouse. haha. ang yabang naman. she also has this habbit of meowing and meowing and meowing so loudly and repeatedly that whoever hears her will have no choice but to feed her or give her a massage just so she'd shut up. haha. she's also very adventurous. my sister has a highschool friend who's also living in our street, about 6 houses away, and when he went to our house and saw doggy, he said that doggy is always walking around their house. ha! grabe man si doggy. ka-lakwatserang bata. hehe. of all the cats i knew in my entire life, doggy is the one whose attitude is closest to that of a human being. polly, our other cat, is way kinder than doggy, and fatso way glam than doggy, but there's just something different about doggy that really endears her to us. she's one amazing cat, and i thank God for such a blessing. :)

this is the saddest strip ever :'( well, at least it's fake.. but it still made me feel sad.

severus snape is my favorite character ^_^ he showed how true love really is. i feel so sad about how things went for him, but i think the point of his story is that no love goes wasted. like, maybe lily didn't become aware of his love for her, but he still found a way to show it- by protecting harry. even if he didn't like harry because he's james' son, he still held on because his love for lily is true. then.. dumbledore. well, it's nice to know that he isn't this totally perfect character with zero flaws. his desire for immortality showed that he is also like voldemort, only his means are different from his. and.. voldemort in the seventh book has more personality than voldemort in the first six books. he values something other than his own life, after all. i think the seventh book was able to give more dimension to most characters, even to fleur :) after reading the book, i felt sad because i know that there won't be any more books to come. okay, so maybe rowling will make an encyclopedia but harry's story was already given a closure, and i just feel sad because after seven years of the harry potter experience (i read the first two books in grade 5), i won't ever get the thrill of waiting for and wondering about what's gonna happen next. =(

today i am reeeeeally happy because..



1. dg! it's always fun. what with ate char's (uber korni) jokes and ej's company.. dg is never boring. :) hopefully next week we'll be complete. te lucky, loreen, and chil weren't able to come this morning.



2. witnessing at AS:)



3. lunch at casaa with ej and ate char. nakangsiopao! pag knikilig ako nawawala na ko sa sarili ko. di ko tuloy napakilala si ej. "kung pwede lang mamatay sa kilig, double dead na ko.." hehe..


4. tambay. la lang, wala naman talaga kong balak tumambay, eh may tao naman pala kahit wednesday. napasign ko pa si ate jen. weeeh! twas also really fun talking with her. tas Christian pa siya. :) spent 3 and a half hours there. bale total tambay hours ko ay.. (drumroll) 10+ hours! hehe. one sixth na rin yun nung required ah! at may alumni pang dumating, buti nalang wala siyang nirequire bago magsign, dahil wala si buddy ko at wala naman akong info bout the alumni. hehe.



5. tooooooot! highlight of da dey! nyahaha ^_^ (cue in.. my head's in a jam, can't take you off my mind, from the time we met, i've been beset by thoughts of you..)



6. internet! nabigla nalang ako, pag bukas ko kay Chito para mag SIMS, eh may nakita akong icon sa taskbar, yung computer monitor na may parang signal strength.. haha. naka-wi-fi ata kapit bahay. at least free net! haha! though mabagal, 18mbps lang, pero libre naman, di pa ko lalayo, o daba!



i'm really thankful for this day. ..so blessed, ^_^

this week i learned that..

..there are some things that i should really just keep to myself. kung di, eh tuluyan na kong iinisin ng ibang tao jan. haii! :p
..being nice actually pays :)
..i should never wear shorts or skirts when i've something scheduled to do in school after 5
..scratching mosquito bites only gives me relief for a while and causes scars that will last for who knows how long. and i can't let this happen again or else i'll have to throw away all my shorts and skirts.
..i should always keep in mind that books are better than movies. harry potter? not one movie managed to outdo its book counterpart.
..watching one tree hill for an hour a day makes me blackout on lucas during an oh so exciting chem1 lecture. which is actually a good thing cause it keeps me from getting sleepy.
..sometimes it's okay to lose. :) was totally outbid by one of my co apps in aguman for the buddy bidding. dangit! hello? 1,300 nga nanginginig na ko sa takot, ilang buwang load ko na rin yun. hehe. fortunately, even if i wasn't able to bid on anyone, ate ferg was assigned as my buddy and i only had to pay the average of the highest and lowest bid. :) i was actually waiting for her or ate lai but they weren't called, so in losing in the bidding i actually got who i originally wanted :)
..even if i'm talking to someone, i should still be aware of the other things that i'm doing, lest i spill c2 on my oh so planned outfit or enter the wrong pin number for 3 times causing my phone to lock! good thing chibi found my sim pack at home, weeeh! :) kala ko pa naman kakailanganin ko ng magsend ng "hi! new number ko to, jill:)"

and next week.. i should be able to..

..wake up on time! as in, neh jill? i can't afford to absent anymore. don't want to, but sleep just keeps calling on me. hai!

..talk to sir naval about him sparing 15 minutes in even just one of his classes for the ce (classroom evangelism)

..tambay at aguman every free time! even if when i'm there i get a little nervous cause i have to greet everyone and i'm not really good at remembering names.

..construct proper sentences in italian. grrr. why are italian verbs classified by gender anyway???

..stay for the whole duration of the ML. i only stayed for like an hour today. and that's because i had to go home and i'm not really comfortable commuting when it's too dark. so i guess next week i'll just go home on saturday.

..understand chem! nako! chem1 lang bat ang hina ko talaga??? grr. at hello, magpopolsci major ako, why the heck do i need chem? anong silbi ng pagkakaalam ko sa molecular whatevers ng iba ibang compounds kung ang gusto kong pag aralan eh politics???

..stay away from fast food! aiii. this is gonna be really hard.
